It is hard to imagine if this number is high when I first read it.
Data in the Wikipedia shows that Ottawa has population of 875,000 in 2006. If I am using this rate in my calculation, it will translate into 201 people commit suicides in Ottawa every year. This number is incredibly high. May God save these people's souls and have mercy on them when they need help.
My heart really prays for those people who are in needs. May the Lord help them to get pass whatever difficulties, challenges and hardships they are currently encountering. May God give them strength and send His angels to guide them though the valley of darkness.
