Superstore feedback

Hi,

I went to Superstore in Kanata around 5:30pm today (Mar 17, 2013). I tried to pick up a few bags of 2% milk for my wife's home daycare as well as a few items. I am surprised to see Superstore is running out most kinds of 4 liter Nelson regular milk. I am looking for a regular 4 liter milk that costs about $4 each. The only 2% and 1% left were the expensive $7 4-liter bag. I asked the staff working there, they confirmed they are running out the milk.

So, I have to make another trip to the new Wal-Mart (5 minutes away) to get the milk.

I have been buying grocery from this Superstore since Day 1. Our family has made it our family grocery store.  But, today you disappointed me that I can't even get a basic item my family need.

By the way, I am still a loyal Superstore customer. Just want to feedback to you my experience.

Also, in case you don't know, Walmart has cheaper Nelson 2% 4-liter milk. They are selling it at $3.97.

Cheers,
Kian

Review on Kanata Noodle House

Not a question. The food in this restaurant is really  good. One of the best in Ottawa. We love the noodle soup and the pad thai that we came to this restaurant twice in less than a week.

However, the service was slow and full of errors. It is your responsibility to watch out.

This evening, we order a large noodle soup and a pad thai. About 10 minutes into our meal, we doubted the noodle soup was not the size we've ordered. (At least not the size we've had before.)   When asked, we were confirmed it was medium. Then the manager went to double checked our order, it was Large that we ordered. He waived us from the cashier table (about 10 feet away) that we ordered large but were given medium. He corrected the bill from the cashier table. No apology nor explanation. When paying the bill, another waiter gave us a bill-tray containing 2 bills, one wrong bill and another correct bill. The waiter had me to pay the correct bill. Had I not noticed the error, I will be paying large while eating medium. The waiter knew the error but acted like no error had happened.

Last Sunday (16/3/13), we happened to sit next to the cashier, and observed all the food mixed up among the waiters and 3 pickup customers. For some reasons, the food for customer A were given out to customer B and customer C. When they figured that out, that was a few minutes later, one of the waiters ran outside to look for customer B and customer C. A few minutes after the waiter returned, customer B returned with the food. They passed that returned food to customer A. Then, about another 5 minutes later, customer C returned. The waiter passed the returned food to customer A.  So, now customers A had the returned foods from customer B and customer C.  I believe customer B and customer C are good guys, but I don't think it is good to pass the food to customer A given that the food was already outside the restaurant for a good 5-10 minutes.  OK. Just to be fair. This was only my side of observation from my table. It may not be accurate on what was really happened, but it was a real chaos for sure.

Again, the food was great. Just watched out what you order, and check the food before you eat and check the bill carefully before you pay.
